Paul Frazer -- Biography
the EXPLORER
Paul is an explorer. And, he believes that we are all explorers as we journey through our personal and professional lives.
He has discovered that although he has many roles, the role that is most important for him to play is that of explorer.
Whether in his personal life or professional career, one of Paul's greatest gifts is discovering how things work, discovering what's new and then going out and sharing what he has discovered with others.
This underlying theme of exploring has allowed Paul to excel in many areas -- academics, leadership, career, volunteering, executive performance, professional speaking, coaching, facilitating, parenting.
the HISTORY
Paul was fortunate to start life in Africa. This different background has given him a wonderfully unique take on the world. He also had the opportunity to live in the Caribbean before he came back to Canada where he went through school and university.
Paul was academic and athletic as a child. He was a little bit of everything. Definitely a generalist who was interested in many things. His wide interests and aptitudes lead him to a combined Engineering and Management degree which he took into a career in I.T. He worked as an analyst, a consultant and finally as an executive in the I.T. realm until he "retired" to start Mindscape.
Along the way, he kept busy conquering marathons, triathlons, and Mount Kilimanjaro. He has sailed across the Atlantic and in the Caribbean and Canada. He has had the good fortune of working overseas in the Middle East and the Caribbean. This wide background of adventure has supported his cutting edge research into becoming a world class leader and performer.
As an engineer, Paul has an insatiable curiosity in how things work – particularly the fascinating terrain of the mind. As an explorer of the inner and outer landscapes, Paul has extensively studied the fields of human performance and personal & professional leadership.
